DURATION TEST

It is a study to determine possible breakages and damage that products may suffer during use. It has to be done with several samples in parallel and it usually requires at least 20 hours of use or simulated use and continuous follow-up. It is useful for the company to know the weakest or more resistant parts of their products and assess them with regards to possible changes in raw materials, moulds and components used in the manufacturing processes.

MANOEUVRABILTY TEST

It is a study to determine the ease of use (usability) by the target user group. It provides information about the parts of the toy that are more or less comfortable to handle, and product parts or accessories in need of improvement with regards to handling by children.

PACKAGING TEST

This test analyses the acceptance level of consumers with regards to the packaging, including the attractiveness of its design, its functionality or the information it transmits. It allows you to know the strengths and weaknesses of the packaging, the most relevant attributes to the consumer, the more significant textual or graphical information, the brand image that it conveys, positioning compared to the competition’s packaging, variables of the package crucial to success or failure on the market (size, format, try me ...), aspects of the packaging that could be improved, and so on.

INSTRUCTIONS TEST

It is a study to determine the degree of understanding and adequacy of the product instructions. It can be done for ‘game’ or ‘assembly’ instructions and it can be targeted at adults or children.

It is advantageous to check that the product instructions that need to be communicated are complete and correctly understood by the recipient. This study allows you to know if the instructions are sufficient and / or correct, or require modification.

ADVICE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTS

This involves working with companies to help optimise product development. Such studies can provide data and evaluations to ensure an adequate conception of a product from a recreational, educational and usability point of view. In turn such studies enable the provision of ideas and expert advice for the optimisation of the resulting product.
