Toy Library - Toy Valley

RESEARCH AND LEISURE TIME CENTRE

The toy library "Toy Valley" is part of the infrastructure of AIJU’s Pedagogical Department. The Toy Library is defined as a centre for research on games and toys, and as a leisure and free time centre for children.

It is a leisure centre which offers children a collection of toys to play with in the installation itself.

- It has an area of 250 m2

- It is equipped with closed-circuit TV.

- It has 350 recreational toys that are strategically distributed in groups:

- Vehicles

- Board games

- Costumes

- Constructions

- Medical

- Board games

- Miniatures

- Dolls

- Etc.

The destined users are children aged from 3 to 12 years old, who may attend individually (members) or in school groups.

One of the objectives of the toy library "Toy Valley” is:

- To examine toys and their features looking for the properties which make them objects suitable and becoming of child development.
